Dr. Gautham Kulamarva, is a distinguished ENT surgeon currently practising at Maithri Speciality Clinics Mangalore He joined the prestigious Govt. Karnatak Medical College in the year 1990 through the Karnataka state common entrance as a general merit candidate. Following his MBBS, he went on to secure an all-India seat in Otorhinolaryngology in the prestigious Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai.

During the course of MS in ENT, he cleared the DORL from the College of Physicians and surgeons of Mumbai. In the Masters in Surgery, he secured the highest marks for the University of Mumbai during the examination conducted in August 2000. He cleared his National Board of Examinations in the year 2000 again securing him the Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) certificate.
His quest for knowledge took him further to the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital for a year for the Sekhsaria fellowship in head and neck cancer surgery.From thereon he cleared his PLAB exam of UK and over his stay in the UK for 4 years, he cleared his speciality examination of DOHNS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, London and MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
During this period he also utilised his time in visiting various centres of excellence in different fields in ENT in and around the UK and Europe. His desire to serve his motherland with the knowledge he gained from across the globe made him come back to India and establish his own clinical establishment in his home town of Kasaragod in the year 2007.
Now continuing with his quest for excellence, he along with his able partner Dr Kishore Krishna who by himself is a distinguished ophthalmologist, established a state-of-the-art polyclinic - Maithri Speciality Clinics - in Mangalore in the year 2012. This is a purpose-built polyclinic housing nearly 28 doctors with an international quality and ambience, in the heart of the medical hub of Mangalore.
